Our Editorial Rating System

Every CPA network listed on Marketer.Money is evaluated by our editorial team using a consistent 5-dimension scoring framework. Ratings are based on public information, industry reputation, community feedback, and direct assessment of network capabilities.

Each network receives a score from 1 to 5 in five key areas. The Overall Score is the average of all five dimensions, rounded to one decimal place.

The 5 Rating Dimensions

1. Offers (Variety & Quality)

We evaluate the breadth and quality of the offer catalog – how many verticals are covered, whether exclusive or proprietary offers are available, and how competitive the payouts are compared to market rates.

  • 5 / Excellent: Massive catalog spanning 10+ verticals, exclusive and proprietary offers, consistently above-market payouts
  • 4 / Good: Broad selection across multiple verticals, some exclusive deals, competitive payouts
  • 3 / Average: Decent range, standard verticals, market-rate payouts
  • 2 / Below Average: Limited selection, few verticals, below-market payouts
  • 1 / Poor: Very limited catalog, one or two verticals, uncompetitive payouts

2. Payouts (Terms & Reliability)

Payment reliability is non-negotiable for affiliates. We score networks on payment frequency, minimum thresholds, available payment methods, and most importantly – whether they actually pay on time consistently.

  • 5 / Excellent: Weekly or biweekly payments, $50 or lower minimum, 5+ payment methods, no late payment history
  • 4 / Good: Net-15 or Net-30, reasonable minimums, multiple methods, rare delays
  • 3 / Average: Net-30, $100 minimum, standard methods (wire, PayPal), occasional delays reported
  • 2 / Below Average: Net-45 or longer, high minimums ($500+), limited methods, payment complaints
  • 1 / Poor: Net-60 or longer, very high minimums, single payment method, frequent payment issues

3. Platform & Tracking

Reliable tracking is the foundation of a profitable affiliate operation. We assess dashboard quality, tracking accuracy, postback/S2S support, API access, and real-time reporting capabilities.

  • 5 / Excellent: Proprietary tracking platform, real-time statistics, full REST API, advanced postback support, granular reporting
  • 4 / Good: Modern third-party platform (Everflow, Impact), real-time or near-real-time stats, API access
  • 3 / Average: Standard HasOffers or similar platform, basic postback support, hourly reporting
  • 2 / Below Average: Outdated platform, limited reporting, no API, postback issues reported
  • 1 / Poor: Unreliable tracking, frequent discrepancies, no postback support

4. Support

Quality of affiliate support directly impacts earnings. We evaluate whether dedicated account managers are assigned, response times, quality of optimization guidance, and overall onboarding experience.

  • 5 / Excellent: Dedicated AM from day one, same-day responses, proactive optimization suggestions, 24/7 availability for top affiliates
  • 4 / Good: Dedicated AM for most affiliates, 24-hour response time, helpful onboarding
  • 3 / Average: Shared account manager, 24-48 hour responses, standard onboarding
  • 2 / Below Average: Slow responses (3-5 days), reactive support only, poor onboarding
  • 1 / Poor: Ticket-only support, very slow responses, little to no guidance

5. Reputation & Trust

Industry standing matters. We consider years in business, community sentiment across affiliate forums (affLIFT, STM, BlackHatWorld), any scam reports or legal issues, and overall standing in the CPA marketing industry.

  • 5 / Excellent: 10+ years in business, award-winning reputation, major industry conferences presence, clean record
  • 4 / Good: 5-10 years, consistently positive community reviews, recognized brand
  • 3 / Average: 3-5 years, generally positive with some mixed reviews, no major incidents
  • 2 / Below Average: Under 3 years or significant negative community feedback
  • 1 / Poor: New/unknown network, scam complaints, or unresolved payment disputes

Important Notes

Editorial Independence

All ratings on Marketer.Money are editorial assessments made by our team. We do not sell ratings or accept payment in exchange for higher scores. Networks cannot purchase a better rating – they can only earn one.

Rating Updates

We review and update ratings on an annual basis, or sooner when significant changes occur (ownership change, platform migration, payment policy changes, major community reports). Each review page shows a “Last Updated” date so you know how current the assessment is.

Network Profile Claims

Networks can claim their profile on Marketer.Money to respond to reviews, update their information, and flag factual inaccuracies. Claiming a profile does not influence the editorial rating. To claim your network, contact us here.

Community Feedback

We actively monitor affiliate community forums and take community reports seriously. If you have direct experience with a network that contradicts our rating – positive or negative – we welcome your feedback. Documented reports carry the most weight in rating adjustments.

No Affiliation

Marketer.Money is an independent directory. We are not affiliated with, employed by, or sponsored by any of the networks we review. Some pages may contain affiliate links where noted, but these do not influence ratings.
